Certificate III in Frontline Management (BSB31207)

This qualification is part of the Business Services Training Package. It is designed to assist organisations (or individuals) evaluate the skills of their frontline managers against key management competencies.

Units of Competency:

CORE UNITS

• BSBCMN311B Maintain workplace safety
• BSBFLM303C Contribute to effective workplace relationships
• BSBFLM305C Support operational plan
• BSBWOR301A Organise personal work priorities and development

ELECTIVE UNITS (EXAMPLE)

• BSBCUS301A Deliver and monitor a service to customers
• BSBFLM311C Support a workplace learning enviroment

Two elective units are to be undertaken. The specific units will be determined according to delivery mode or enployment requirements.

Course Duration

1. Traineeship - the program is delivered over a period of up to 36 months.

2. Distance Learning - up to 12 months (this mode of delivery is self paced).

Entry Level

The preferred pathway for entry into this qualification are:

* after achieving the BSB20107 Certificate II in Business or other relevant qualification; or

* with some vocational experience working in a team but no formal qualifications.

Recognition of Prior Learning/Exemptions

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) can be attained in a number of ways. This includes any combination of formal or informal training and education, work experiences or general life experience.

To gain RPL, our assessors must be confident that you are currently competent against the endorsed industry competency standards or outcomes in accredited courses. The evidence may take a variety of forms and can include formal qualifications, references from past or present employers, testimonials from clients and work samples.
