Certificate IV in Frontline Management (BSB40807)

This qualification is from the revised Business Services Training Package and aims to provide the knowledge and skills required for a person working as a supervisor/team leader of a large workgroup.

Six elective units are to be undertaken. The specific units will be determined according to delivery mode or employment requirements.

Course Duration

1. Traineeship - this program is delivered over a period of up to 36 months

2. Distance Learning - up to 12 months (this mode of delivery is self paced)

Entry Level

There are two preferred pathways for entry into this qualification:

after achieving the BSB31207 Certificate III in Frontline Management or other relevant qualification; or

with some vocational experience working in a supervisory role but no formal qualification.

Recognition of Prior Learning/Exemptions

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) can be attained in a number of ways. This includes any combination of formal or informal training and education, work experiences or general life experience.

To gain RPL, our assessors must be confident that you are currently competent against the endorsed industry competency standards or outcomes in accredited courses. The evidence may take a variety of forms and can include formal qualifications, references from past or present employers, testimonials from clients and work samples.
