Unique Student Identifier

A Unique Student Identifier (USI)is needed for all students studying with Precise Training. From 1 January 2015 for undertaking Nationally Recognised Training delivered by a Registered Training Organisation the student/s will need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

The USI is available online and there is no cost to create or hold this. This USI will stay with the student for life and be recorded with any nationally recognised VET course that is completed with any RTO or authorised training provider. The student at enrolment is required to create USI or allow Precise Training to create an USI on their behalf by completing a USI Authority to Apply Application Form attached to the enrolment form.

• USI data collection and use may occur only with account holder consent or as authorised by law
• USI Registry System keeps minimal personal information
• Students control access to their USI account
